Christ Rules

Welcome to Christ’s Jurisdiction

What jurisdiction? You mean this website?

Not just this website. Reality. The universe. Time. Ethics. The whole enchilada. Everything. And then some.

Christ (incarnate Torah) Rules through His LawWord (inscripturated Torah), gives meaning, definition, life, health, and context to all things. Thus the study of, and listening and obedience to, His LawWord is to be the main activity of our lives. This is what God admonishes and encourages us to do throughout the Scriptures.

Alleluia. Salvation and glory and honor and power unto the Lord our God. Alleluia, for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth. We hail thee Sovereign of our hearts. We abdure forever all other lords who have had dominion over us and declare from the heart, we have no king but Jesus.
William Symington - Messiah, the Prince

Lordship, or sovereignty, is denied to the Triune God (YHVH), if his total Word (Torah) is not recognized and obeyed as the law of our lives and of every aspect of our society. If we assume the validity of other laws, then we allow other lords or sovereigns to have dominion over us. - RR169A2

The rule of Christ is omni-jurisdictional. It was titled to Christ at the resurrection.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

It will be perfected at the end of time.

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

In the mean time it must be worked out in time and history.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The religious aspect of man's being impacts every area of life: educational, cultural, political, economical, reproductive, and personal.

The job of Humanism, the dominant philosophy in western culture, is to push you into meaninglessness in every area of your life. Once this goal is achieved you commit suicide.

The job of Christianity is to offer you meaning in every area of your life. Once achieved, you have fullness of life and have it abundantly, now and in eternity.

As its name applies, Christianity is centered on Jesus Christ, while Humanism is centered on man apart from Christ. Both claim that their central entity is the meaning, measure, logic, reason, and context of all of life. Each sees the other as in hell, the realm of ultimate and utter meaninglessness. They cannot peacefully coexist. Between these two religions exist all other philosophies with their adherents coming into ever-greater epistemological self-awareness through a process commonly known as history. This process is unstoppable.

It is to the acceleration of this process, that is, to help you seek God's Kingdom, that we offer these courses. If you can find a better source of Biblical teaching or you have a better understanding than we can offer here, then please offer it to your brothers and sisters in Christ. We do not offer any certifications or special priveleges to those who listen or agree with the teachers here. These tapes are offered in obedience to Scripture that we are to obey God's Law and teach others to do so.

To this end men have dedicated their lives to teaching and preaching God's LawWord. The best of this preaching for the past 45 years or so has been captured on tape and archived by the Mt Olive Tape Library thanks to George Calhoun and his supporters. These tapes feature over 200 speakers and a wide range of crucial topics. The major speaker and outstanding author in this group is RJ Rushdoony. Thus his tapes are being made available first as part of the Mt Olive Tape Digitization Project through the offerings available at http://www.chalcedon.edu and in organized form at: http://www.pocketcollege.com
